You Can’t Borrow Shelter

DO YOU DWELL WITH THE LORD IN A HOTEL OR IN YOUR HOME? Psalm 91:1 (NLT) tells us that “those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty”. The key phrase is “live in the shelter.”

Do you visit God’s presence only when facing a difficult situation – like temporarily staying in a hotel? Or do you constantly abide in His presence – like you dwell in your home? Psalm 91 is more than a prayer you lift up in an emergency situation. It’s about the life you build before a crisis shows up.

Let this be your prayer of commitment: “God, I don’t want to visit anymore … I want to dwell.”
