Have you registered for this other resource called SNAP?
As an affiliated agency with The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB), our pantry’s patrons are eligible to apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
SNAP is a program that gives you money for food. Funds are loaded onto an electronic card and can be used to buy food at supermarkets, convenience stores, farmer’s markets and even some online retailers.
Find out more and get yourself registered for this additional support.
More on SNAP
Please note: The CIC Food Pantry does not oversee SNAP benefits and the GBFB is only able to assist Massachusetts residents with SNAP eligibility and applications. Nonresidents should contact their state agency or local food bank for similar programs.
