When All Seems Lost

ARE YOU OVERWHELMED WITH GREIF AFTER A PAINFUL LOSS? Today’s message gives us an example from the life of King David on how to handle extreme loss in our lives. David’s home town of Ziklag had been raided and plundered by the Amalekites. Instead of succumbing to grief, “David found strength in the Lord his God.” (1 Samuel 30:6 NLT)

Strength rises where trust is rooted. Because of Jesus, grief and sorrow will not have the final word.  In Christ, nothing has been lost that will truly be lost forever. When you don’t know what to do, seek the one who does. He will carry your heavy burden and give you rest. A greater restoration awaits!
