What Plant Are You Whining About?

WHAT DO YOU CARE ABOUT? Today’s message traverses the journey of Jonah from his refusal to obey God’s command to preach repentance to Ninevah to his anger after the Lord spared Ninevah from destruction when they turned from their evil ways. Jonah’s anger was kindled further over the death of a plant which had briefly offered him shade under a hot sun. Like Jonah, are we more concerned about a plant that offered temporary comfort or the salvation of souls living in spiritual darkness?
