We’re Not Okay – Why Fixing You Isn’t Enough

IS SO MUCH OF YOUR LIFE SPENT TRYING TO FIX THINGS? As the people of Jerusalem celebrated the first Palm Sunday, they were rejoicing because they witnessed Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead and believed He would miraculously solve their biggest problem – to free them from the oppression of Roman rule. They were not wrong for wanting deliverance. But as the “resurrection and the life”, Jesus was aiming for something deeper than making their lives smoother.

Jesus did not come to patch up our lives and fix our problems. He came to show us that death is the only path to life. He wants us to lay down our life so He can give us His own. Where are you asking Jesus to fix … what only He can raise?
