Together, Not The Same

HOW DO YOU RELATE TO THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO YOU IN CHURCH? Despite the differences we have with others (nationality, career, politics, etc.), they don’t disqualify you from having an identity and belonging within the body of Christ. Galatians 3:26-28 (NLT) tells us: “For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus … For you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

As adopted children of God, we have been gifted with family unity in the Spirit. However, this unity must be guarded: “Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” Ephesians 4:3 (NLT)

Take advantage of opportunities to protect this unity. Make connection with others in the church body regardless of your differences!
