The Road Beyond Bethlehem

IS THE LORD LEADING YOU AWAY FROM DANGER? The very first road that Jesus Christ walks is not toward a throne, it’s toward obscurity and uncertainty. In Matthew 2:13-20, Joseph and Mary were instructed by an angel to flee to Egypt to escape Herod’s edict to kill all boys under two years old. God was leading his family away for their protection. In your own life, the road the Lord is guiding you on may not look like progress. He may be protecting you so He can preserve His perfect plan for your life. God finishes what He starts even through detours. Will you place the road ahead in God’s hands?
