The King’s Supper

WHO IS KING OF YOUR LIFE? Today we celebrate Palm Sunday with a message from 1 Samuel 8:5-20 “Give us a king to judge us like all the other nations have … They don’t want me (the Lord) to be their king any longer.” The Israelites desired a king who would free them from the oppression of Rome. However, earthly kings come and go and will only disappoint us in the end. The kingdom that Jesus brought was not an earthly kingdom, but one in which we are forgiven, healed and resurrected. He is the only king who can defeat sin and death!
