The Holy Spirit Is Not A Side Quest

THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES WITHIN US! Today’s message focuses on Romans 8:9-17 (NLT): “But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you.” The Spirit of God that lives within us gives life to our mortal bodies since we have been made right with God. The Spirit disciplines us to put to death the deeds of our sinful nature. He shifts our eyesight to see that we are children of God. Lastly, the Spirit awakens our joy as we realize we are heirs of God’s glory.
