The Covenant Cut With Abraham

HAVE YOU WAITED A VERY LONG TIME FOR SOMETHING? Today’s message continues our journey on The Road to Bethlehem as we take a look at the covenant God made with Abraham in Genesis 12. Abraham waited 25 years for the son God promised him. He was obedient to leave his home and trusted God to fulfill this promise. Abraham’s journey was complete when he was willing to sacrifice Isaac. In the same way, the Christmas message is that the lamb has been provided and was willing to sacrifice Himself to take away the sins of the world. We can learn from Abraham’s example. When we ask God for something and He’s called us into obedience and trust, He will fulfill His promise at the right time!
