WHAT PROMISE ARE YOU WAITING ON THE LORD FOR? Today’s message is taken from 1 Samuel 16:10-13 (NLT). David was a shepherd boy when the prophet Samuel anointed him to be the king of Israel. Over a quarter of his life passed, however, before that promise was fulfilled. From David’s experience, we learn that a promise doesn’t result in an instant promotion. Times of waiting create in us the courage and perseverance that will be required for new seasons in our life. During the waiting time, be encouraged to switch from fear to praise and God’s promise will manifest in His perfect timing!
