Kids These Days: Peer Pressure

ARE YOU SUCCOMBING TO PEER PRESSURE? Today’s message is based on 1 Kings 12:1-11 (NIV): “If today you will be a servant to these people and serve them and give them a favorable answer, they will always be your servants. But Rehoboam rejected the advice the elders gave him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him and were serving him.” Peer pressure arises out of the desire for approval and a fear of rejection. However, if we remain steadfast to the precepts and commands of God’s Word, we will stand strong (1 John 2:17) and be able to nurture the younger generation.
