An Invitation – Not An Indictment

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH YOUR DOUBTS WHEN YOU FEEL GOD HAS LET YOU DOWN? In John 20:24-31 (NLT), we have the story of the Apostle Thomas who has become well-known for doubting that Jesus rose from the dead. When Jesus visited His Apostles a second time, He addressed Thomas’ doubt by saying “Peace be with you” and then extended His wounded body as evidence of his resurrection.

Doubt is not an indictment. It’s an invitation that Jesus extends to you with His peace and encouragement to grow your faith and trust in Him.

The answer to your doubt is found in Psalm 23:4 (NLT): “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.”
